Psychiatry and contact: emotions (English)

Let op: Deze training is inmiddels van start, inschrijven is niet meer mogelijk.

The trainings Psychiatry and contact work from central themes such as depression, anxiety or like now, emotions.

Sadness, anxiety, anger, happiness; feelings and emotions are inseparable to human existence. They tell something about yourself, the situation you are in, over your relationship with the environment. They tell something about contact. The boundaries you can sense in this contact.

Objectives and content
During your work as a volunteer you will encounter different emotions from your buddy. Maybe your buddy expresses him/herself as depressed, anxious, sad or angry; does this unveil a psychiatric diagnosis or is it possibly an outing a need for contact?
During this evening we will investigate the meaning of emotions and boundaries with the use of a contactmodel. We will connect this as much as possible with the contact between you and your buddy. During his evening the experience is key, theoretical knowledge is only supportive.
We ask the participants to prepare a case from their own volunteering experience and, if they like, to share this case during the training.

The training will be guided by Lidie Nonnekes, an experience expert trainer and Herman Pasveer, a trainer with growing expertise in experience.
