Masterclass Language of trust (Zoom)

Let op: Deze training is inmiddels van start, inschrijven is niet meer mogelijk.

With Dorit Weintal

In this masterclass together with Dorit Weintal (choreographer/dance/multi-disciplinary artist) we explore how we can develop an attitude of trust. We learn how to walk when there is no ground (to continue in insecure situations) and to support another in times of difficulty due to unforeseen circumstances. Trust is a process you encounter yourself in when you play. What can we learn from this?

On de master
Dorit Weintal is initiator of project TRUST, a one-year research (2019 – 2020). During a year Dorit has been collaborating with migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, migrants with no status together with her artistic team to create an experience that can open unexpected horizons of meaning; bringing contemporary dance, original poetry, voice, and cinematographic techniques together with live-based-reality performances. She has a long-time experience as a dancer and choreographer working with people in extremely challenging situations. More info: www.doritweintal.com

Since 2012, the Volunteer Academy has been organizing masterclasses to investigate how we can ensure an inclusive city with care for people in vulnerable positions. Together with a master we investigate what we encounter, we reflect on our own experience and attitude and we bring policy and care in practice.

How does it work?
We work with the video conferencing system Zoom. Prior to the masterclass you will receive instruction on how to install Zoom on your computer, laptop or tablet. For the online meeting you will receive an invitation with a link.

A condition for participating in an online meeting is that you are present with both image and sound. If you don’t have one or both of them, unfortunately you cannot participate. It helps to test this in advance and make sure you get there in plenty of time.

For whom?
Anyone interested in the subject, in particular volunteers, trainees, experiential experts, caregivers, professionals, managers, officials and politicians.

Time investment
2 hours

Number of places
The course can accommodate up to 30 participants.
