NEW: psychiatry and contact (English spoken)

Let op: Deze training is inmiddels van start, inschrijven is niet meer mogelijk.

Maybe you support someone who is labelled with a psychiatric diagnose – like a borderline personality disorder or depression – or someone who suffers from mental problems. It can be very helpful to know more about mental problems and what this means for you as volunteer, in your contact with the person you support. How does it influence the way you are with the other and how do you both find a way to a satisfying contact?

Objectives and content
In this training we investigate how psychiatric knowledge is helpful and above all, what kind of knowledge is important or maybe even necessary in supporting your client as a volunteer.

By dialogue and different kinds of practices we will investigate the meaning of a psychiatric diagnosis and the meaning of ‘good’ contact.
Furthermore we wil present you a relational model of contact for a different kind of understanding of what happens between you and the (psychiatric diagnosed) other.

The trainers this evening are Lidie Nonnekes and Herman Pasveer. Lidie is an experience expert and Herman is a trainer with experiences.
Let’s meet our experiences!
